The Palos Verdes Junior Women’s Club awards scholarships to worthy, local graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college or university and to returning scholarship recipients still in good standing. Scholarships will be granted based primarily on financial need with an emphasis on academic achievement, community service and extra-curricular activities. Scholarships may be used only for tuition and/or fees.  

Eligibility
Applicants must:

• Be worthy local graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college or university; or
• Be returning scholarship recipients still in good standing
• Have achieved a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.0 (grade point aveage less than a cumulative 3.0 will require a letter of explanation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Be be a U.S. citizen, and
• Reside within the 90274 or 90275 zip codes.
