Palos Verdes Junior Women’s Club

We strive to retain and attract a thriving and connected membership to improve the lives of others and our own.

About Us

OUR MISSION is to support women and children in crisis throughout the South Bay area.

ESTABLISHED in 1958 as a non-profit public benefit corporation, the Palos Verdes Junior Women’s Club is designated as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

MEMBERSHIP is open to women over 21 who reside in the South Bay. Our diverse members include community leaders, stay-at-home moms, and professional women in business, law, and medicine. Our organization is 100% volunteer; we have no paid staff.

OUR GOAL is to promote the social welfare of the greater South Bay community through financial assistance and hands-on support.

FOCUS is placed on groups that have critical, yet often overlooked needs. Our contributions assist philanthropies that are categorized as follows:

· Crisis - Support immediate life-threatening or critical needs

· Intervention - Provide for long-term needs of a critical nature

· Prevention - Prevent crisis situations from happening

· Support - Assist with positive encouragement

· Service - Assist the general public.

FUNDRAISING activities, in which our members are required to participate, include a Holiday Luncheon and Boutique in the late Fall, and a Spring Fundraiser in late March.
