Thank you for your interest in becoming a member or renewing your current membership with the Palos Verdes Junior Women’s Club!  With over 100 Active, Affiliate, and Alumnae members, our organization is a blend of stay-at-home moms and professional women in fields such as education, medicine, law, and business.  PV Juniors thrives on the energy of our dynamic members, who share a passion for helping our community while having a lot of fun together along the way.  We hope you will choose to join us!

Our General Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of every month from September through June, with the exception of December. General Meetings are held in the evening with a social time beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed by commencement of the meeting at 7:00 p.m.  During your Affiliate year, you will also attend Affiliate meetings held just prior to the social portion of our General Meeting.  All General Meetings are held at a convenient location within Palos Verdes.

As a member of PV Juniors, you may look forward to participating in our two fundraisers.  Our Holiday Luncheon and Boutique is typically held on the first Sunday in December and our annual Spring Fundraiser dinner-dance takes place in March.  In addition, you may enjoy getting to know our members better by taking part in our social events, such as our Kick Off Party, Fall Social, Holiday Gift Exchange, Founders’ Luncheon, and Year-End Party.

Jamie Middleton is our November PV Junior of the Month!

Jamie joined PV Juniors in 2024. As an affiliate she was very involved in the success of the project at SHAWL. This year, she has been very busy as our Holiday Luncheon Chair, one of our largest and most important events with enthusiasm.

When asked about her experience with PV Juniors, Jamie shared that joining the organization has given her “a wonderful opportunity to make new friends she might not have otherwise met and serve the community together.” She is grateful for the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community and has especially enjoyed learning the ins and outs of event planning—a fun contrast to her daily work in public health.

Jamie is particularly appreciative of the opportunity to work alongside Trisha Caal, noting that she has been “an incredible leader as VP of Holiday Events.”

Jamie lives here in Palos Verdes with her husband John, and her two sons, Julian and Jackson. Jamie is a public health veterinarian and serves as the Director of Veterinary Public Health for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH), where she leads countywide initiatives that protect both human and animal health. With nearly 11 years of service at LACDPH, Jamie brings extensive expertise in zoonotic disease prevention, epidemiology, and public health policy.

Please join us in celebrating Jamie for her leadership, her kindness, and her heartfelt dedication to PV Juniors!
